The pilot program demonstrated a complete SAF value chain—from feedstock sourcing and production at the Zhangjiagang plant, through blending and supply by China National Aviation Fuel Group, to flight operations by major Chinese carriers. This end‑to‑end validation is crucial for scaling SAF adoption across China’s vast aviation network, which accounts for a rapidly growing share of global aviation emissions.
